António Pedro Costa is one of the researchers of the qualitative analysis support software webQDA (webqda.net), an area in which he has published, in co-authorship, several papers in national and international congresses and journals, as well as book chapters. He currently teaches curricular units of research methodologies. He is the Coordinator of the Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research (ciaiq.ludomedia.org), the World Conference on Qualitative Research (wcqr.ludomedia.org), and QUAL4Business (qual4b.ludomedia.org). He organizes several special issues on Qualitative Research, notably some books entitled “Computer Supported Qualitative Research” published by Springer Publishers. He is a researcher at the Research Centre on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers (CIDTFF), Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro, and collaborator at the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Lab (LIACC), Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. His areas of interest include Qualitative Research and Mixed Methods, emphasizing the study of methods, data collection techniques and analysis for implementation in the webQDA software. In addition, he has carried out studies in this field on data representation and visualization, ethics, decision making, customer/user satisfaction, among others.
