Created in 1994, the CIDTFF – Research Centre on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers is a Research Unit located at the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro (Portugal). Its mission is anchored in the responsibility of research in education: to produce knowledge able to contribute to educated, qualified, and critical citizens, and to the creation of a better world. CIDTFF is financially supported by National Funds through FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., under the projects UIDB/00194/2020 and UIDP/00194/2020, and was evaluated with “Very Good” under the last evaluation process coordinated by FCT.

Microio is an innovation company in the electronics area, specialized in the creation of custom-made integrated software and hardware solutions. Present in more than 500 institutions, with about 1.5 million daily users of its systems, Microio is a solid and experienced player in its sector, thus becoming a privileged partner of webQDA, a software for qualitative data analysis. Microio has a strong background of implementation in the education sector, with hundreds of schools in Portugal, Brazil and Angola, therefore the development, maintenance and marketing of webQDA software was presented as a natural evolution that complements the Unicard, an existing solution in the company.

Ricardo Luengo González
Doctor in Mathematics and University Professor (CU) in the area of Didactics of Mathematics at the University of Extremadura (UEX) – Spain. Has been Head of Research Division of ICE, Director of the Innovation and Evaluation Unit, Director of the Secretariat of New Technologies and Vice Chancellor of Educational Innovation and New Technologies of UEX. He is currently the Director of the Department of Didactics of Experimental Sciences and Mathematics. Has forty-three years of experience at the University.
Luis M. Casas García
Professor and Doctor of Psycho-Pedagogy, has worked the last 27 years in Primary Education and is currently a professor in the Department of Didactics of Experimental Sciences and Mathematics of the Faculty of Education at the University of Extremadura – Spain.
José Luís Torres Carvalho
Doctor of Education Sciences from the University of Extremadura – Spain. Professor of Primary Education at Agrupamento de Escolas No. 1 de Elvas and associate professor of the Department of Didactics of Experimental Sciences and Mathematics of the Faculty of Education at the University of Extremadura. Was an invited assistant professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Education at the University of Évora – Portugal and professor in their ICT Competence Center.
